Because it’s still February, it’s still Black History Month … which means it’s not too late to honor the pioneers who broke the NFL’s color barrier.

Pro Football Journal’s John Turney profiled four African-Americans who led the charge, including Hall-of-Famers Bill Willis and Marion Motley of the Cleveland Browns. Though many today don’t remember them, they cannot … and will not … be forgotten for what making it possible for generations of African Americans after them to participate in the NFL.
