Talk of Fame Network

It’s cold in Green Bay. It’s loud in Kansas City. But the best place to call home in the NFL is Foxborough, Mass.

Readers and listeners of the Talk of Fame Network voted Gillette Stadium, home of the Super Bowl champion Patriots, the best homefield advantage in the NFL. Gillette received 34.8 percent of the vote to nose our CenturyLink Field in Seattle at 30.4 percent.

Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City finished third in the balloting, followed by Lambeau Field in Green Bay and Mile High Stadium in Denver.

The Patriots finished 7-1 at home last season on the way to a 12-4 record, another AFC East title and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. Since Tom Brady became the starting quarterback of the Patriots in 2001, New England has posted a 94-18 record at home with six 8-0 seasons at Gillette.

Hmmm – I wonder if there could possibly be a correlation between Brady and that home success?
