Poll Question – Class of 2015

Who is the most worthy candidate for the Hall of Fame Class of 2015?

1) DE Charles Haley – Only player in NFL history with 5 Super Bowl rings — 3 with Dallas, 2 with San Francisco. 100 career sacks.

2) WR Marvin Harrison – NFL’s third all-time leading receiver with 1,102 catches for 14,580 yards and 128 touchdowns. An eight-time Pro Bowler.
3) LB Junior Seau – A 12-time Pro Bowler with 56 1/2 career sacks, 18 interceptions and 18 fumble recoveries.
4) QB Kurt Warner – Took two downtrodden franchises to the Super Bowl — the St. Louis Rams in 1999 and Arizona Cardinals in 2008. NFL MVP in 1999. A four-time Pro Bowler.

First time in 21 years I don’t be voting.

Haley should get in. He’s waited long enough. I wanted him last year and put forth my annual argument _ that you CAN put in two guy at the same/similar position (Strahan was the other one). But we always seem to stack candidates by position.

Harrison will eventually make it. He should although the logjam at receiver continues as the numbers climb. My one reservation is how he’d have done playing outdoors with a QB other than Peyton. Probably very well with somewhat lower numbers.

To me, Seau is a first ballot guy

Warner is interesting. In my opinion, his second career at Arizona put him over the top but he might have to wait a few years depending on the backlog.
